After the embarassingly bad Robiniho fluffed penalty kick against Sunderland at the weekend, here is a compliation of some of the worst and most high profile penalty misses ever to have graced the video screen.

One of the biggest up and coming prospects from Brazil is Kerlon. The video below was takenn in 2005 and shows him playing in the South American U17 Championship.

In this tournament, Kerlon, who can play in attacking midfield or up front was named top scorer and player of the tornament, in a squad that also featured Manchester United’s midfielder Anderson.

His performance was made notable for his constant use of a move called ‘the seal dribble’, where he flicks the ball up and dribbles with his head.

The time this video was shot, Kerlon was playing for Brazilian team Cruzeiro, but he moved last summer to Italian Serie A side Chievo Verona, where injury has restricted him to one first team apperance.
